내 증인이 되리라!
사도행전 1:8: 오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
꿈 꾸는 자가 오는도다
창세기 37:18: 요셉이 그들에게 가까이 오기 전에 그들이 요셉을 멀리서 보고 죽이기를 꾀하여
Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him.
창세기 37:19: 서로 이르되 꿈 꾸는 자가 오는도다
Then they said to one another, "Look, this dreamer is coming!
인내의 발효
로마서 5:1-8
1 그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리자
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 또한 그로 말미암아 우리가 믿음으로 서 있는 이 은혜에 들어감을 얻었으며 하나님의 영광을 바라고 즐거워하느니라
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를,
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
4 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다
and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 소망이 우리를 부끄럽게 하지 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 우리가 아직 연약할 때에 기약대로 그리스도께서 경건하지 않은 자를 위하여 죽으셨도다
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 의인을 위하여 죽는 자가 쉽지 않고 선인을 위하여 용감히 죽는 자가 혹 있거니와
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
8 우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
나는 곤고한 사람이로다
로마서 7:24: 오호라 나는 곤고한 사람이로다 이 사망의 몸에서 누가 나를 건져내랴
O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
하나님께 가까이 함이
시편 73:28: 하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라 내가 주 여호와를 나의 피난처로 삼아 주의 모든 행적을 전파하리이다
But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works.
건너는 신앙
여호수아 3:1-13
3:1 또 여호수아가 아침에 일찍이 일어나서 그와 모든 이스라엘 자손들과 더불어 싯딤에서 떠나 요단에 이르러 건너가기 전에 거기서 유숙하니라
3:2 사흘 후에 관리들이 진중으로 두루 다니며
3:3 백성에게 명령하여 이르되 너희는 레위 사람 제사장들이 너희 하나님 여호와의 언약궤 메는 것을 보거든 너희가 있는 곳을 떠나 그 뒤를 따르라
3:4 그러나 너희와 그 사이 거리가 이천 규빗쯤 되게 하고 그것에 가까이 하지는 말라 그리하면 너희가 행할 길을 알리니 너희가 이전에 이 길을 지나보지 못하였음이니라 하니라
3:5 여호수아가 또 백성에게 이르되 너희는 자신을 성결하게 하라 여호와께서 내일 너희 가운데에 기이한 일들을 행하시리라
3:6 여호수아가 또 제사장들에게 말하여 이르되 언약궤를 메고 백성에 앞서 건너라 하매 곧 언약궤를 메고 백성에 앞서 나아가니라
3:7 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 내가 오늘부터 시작하여 너를 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 크게 하여 내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이 너와 함께 있는 것을 그들이 알게 하리라
3:8 너는 언약궤를 멘 제사장들에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희가 요단 물 가에 이르거든 요단에 들어서라 하라
3:9 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 이리 와서 너희의 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 하고
3:10 또 말하되 살아 계신 하나님이 너희 가운데에 계시사 가나안 족속과 헷 족속과 히위 족속과 브리스 족속과 기르가스 족속과 아모리 족속과 여부스 족속을 너희 앞에서 반드시 쫓아내실 줄을 이것으로서 너희가 알리라
3:11 보라 온 땅의 주의 언약궤가 너희 앞에서 요단을 건너가나니
3:12 이제 이스라엘 지파 중에서 각 지파에 한 사람씩 열두 명을 택하라
3:13 온 땅의 주 여호와의 궤를 멘 제사장들의 발바닥이 요단 물을 밟고 멈추면 요단 물 곧 위에서부터 흘러내리던 물이 끊어지고 한 곳에 쌓여 서리라
3:1 Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.
3:2 So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp;
3:3 and they commanded the people, saying, "When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it.
3:4 "Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before."
3:5 And Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you."
3:6 Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.
3:7 And the LORD said to Joshua, "This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
3:8 "You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, 'When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.'"
3:9 So Joshua said to the children of Israel, "Come here, and hear the words of the LORD your God."
3:10 And Joshua said, "By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites:
3:11 "Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan.
3:12 "Now therefore, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from every tribe.
3:13 "And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap."
자신을 연단하라!
디모데전서 4:7: 망령되고 허탄한 신화를 버리고 경건에 이르도록 네 자신을 연단하라
But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness.
디모데전서 4:8: 육체의 연단은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건은 범사에 유익하니 금생과 내생에 약속이 있느니라
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

신명기 1:4-8
4 그 때는 모세가 헤스본에 거주하는 아모리 왕 시혼을 쳐죽이고 에드레이에서 아스다롯에 거주하는 바산 왕 옥을 쳐죽인 후라
after he had killed Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who dwelt at Ashtaroth in Edrei.
5 모세가 요단 저쪽 모압 땅에서 이 율법을 설명하기 시작하였더라 일렀으되
On this side of the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying,
6 우리 하나님 여호와께서 호렙 산에서 우리에게 말씀하여 이르시기를 너희가 이 산에 거주한 지 오래니
"The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying 'You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.
7 방향을 돌려 행진하여 아모리 족속의 산지로 가고 그 근방 곳곳으로 가고 아라바와 산지와 평지와 네겝과 해변과 가나안 족속의 땅과 레바논과 큰 강 유브라데까지 가라
'Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.
8 내가 너희의 조상 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하여 그들과 그들의 후손에게 주리라 한 땅이 너희 앞에 있으니 들어가서 그 땅을 차지할지니라
'See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob--to give to them and their descendants after them.'
살렘왕 멜기세덱
창세기 14:18: 살렘 왕 멜기세덱이 떡과 포도주를 가지고 나왔으니 그는 지극히 높으신 하나님의 제사장이었더라
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.
창세기 14:19: 그가 아브람에게 축복하여 이르되 천지의 주재이시요 지극히 높으신 하나님이여 아브람에게 복을 주옵소서
And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
창세기 14:20: 너희 대적을 네 손에 붙이신 지극히 높으신 하나님을 찬송할지로다 하매 아브람이 그 얻은 것에서 십분의 일을 멜기세덱에게 주었더라
And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand." And he gave him a tithe of all.
나에 대한 판단
이사야 49:1-6
1 섬들아 내게 들으라 먼 곳 백성들아 귀를 기울이라 여호와께서 태에서부터 나를 부르셨고 내 어머니의 복중에서부터 내 이름을 기억하셨으며
“Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar! The Lord has called Me from the womb; From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.
2 내 입을 날카로운 칼 같이 만드시고 나를 그의 손 그늘에 숨기시며 나를 갈고 닦은 화살로 만드사 그의 화살통에 감추시고
And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, And made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me.”
3 내게 이르시되 너는 나의 종이요 내 영광을 네 속에 나타낼 이스라엘이라 하셨느니라
“And He said to me, ‘You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.’
4 그러나 나는 말하기를 내가 헛되이 수고하였으며 무익하게 공연히 내 힘을 다하였다 하였도다 참으로 나에 대한 판단이 여호와께 있고 나의 보응이 나의 하나님께 있느니라
Then I said, ‘I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; Yet surely my just reward is with the Lord, And my work with my God.’ ”
5 이제 여호와께서 말씀하시나니 그는 태에서부터 나를 그의 종으로 지으신 이시요 야곱을 그에게로 돌아오게 하시는 이시니 이스라엘이 그에게로 모이는도다 그러므로 내가 여호와 보시기에 영화롭게 되었으며 나의 하나님은 나의 힘이 되셨도다
“And now the Lord says, Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, So that Israel is gathered to Him (For I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, And My God shall be My strength),
6 그가 이르시되 네가 나의 종이 되어 야곱의 지파들을 일으키며 이스라엘 중에 보전된 자를 돌아오게 할 것은 매우 쉬운 일이라 내가 또 너를 이방의 빛으로 삼아 나의 구원을 베풀어서 땅 끝까지 이르게 하리라
Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
엎드리어 감사하니
누가복음 17:11: 예수께서 예루살렘으로 가실 때에 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시다가
11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
누가복음 17:12: 한 마을에 들어가시니 나병환자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서
12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
누가복음 17:13: 소리를 높여 이르되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘
13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
누가복음 17:14: 보시고 이르시되 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 그들이 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
누가복음 17:15: 그 중의 한 사람이 자기가 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,
누가복음 17:16: 예수의 발 아래에 엎드리어 감사하니 그는 사마리아 사람이라
16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
누가복음 17:17: 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐
17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
누가복음 17:18: 이 이방인 외에는 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 돌아온 자가 없느냐 하시고
18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?"
누가복음 17:19: 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라
19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."
위로부터 능력으로 입혀질 때까지
누가복음 24:44-49
44 또 이르시되 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 말한 바 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자의 글과 시편에 나를 가리켜 기록된 모든 것이 이루어져야 하리라 한 말이 이것이라 하시고
45 이에 그들의 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시고
46 또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과
47 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개가 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니
48 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이라
49 볼지어다 내가 내 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보내리니 너희는 위로부터 능력으로 입혀질 때까지 이 성에 머물라 하시니라
