열왕기하 22:8: 대제사장 힐기야가 서기관 사반에게 이르되 내가 여호와의 성전에서 율법책을 발견하였노라 하고 힐기야가 그 책을 사반에게 주니 사반이 읽으니라
Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, "I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the Lord." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
열왕기하 22:9: 서기관 사반이 왕에게 돌아가서 보고하여 이르되 왕의 신복들이 성전에서 찾아낸 돈을 쏟아 여호와의 성전을 맡은 감독자의 손에 맡겼나이다 하고
So Shaphan the scribe went to the king, bringing the king word, saying, "Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of those who do the work, who oversee the house of the Lord."
열왕기하 22:10: 또 서기관 사반이 왕에게 말하여 이르되 제사장 힐기야가 내게 책을 주더이다 하고 사반이 왕의 앞에서 읽으매
Then Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read it before the king.
열왕기하 22:11: 왕이 율법책의 말을 듣자 곧 그의 옷을 찢으니라
Now it happened, when the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore his clothes.
